How to increase Google Chrome Browsing Speed

Google Chrome becomes the best ever and most commonly used web browser within short time because of simple user interface and high browsing and downloading speed. If Google chrome starts slower or browsing speed is becomes slow, you could try these tricks to speed up Google Chrome browser.

  1)   Update Google Chrome regularly. 

    If you are using older version of Google Chrome, have to update it as soon as possible. Every new update (for every software) is comes with new features and improved performance. You will be secured highly from malware attacks and hacking attempts.You could check whether update is available for your chrome version:Open Google Chrome -> Click on the page icon (right side of address bar with three bars) and click “About Google Chrome” from the dropdown menu. The current version of Chrome and the information about whether an update available or not will be displayed on the “About Chrome” window.

  2)   Remove unwanted extensions from Google Chrome.

  Removing unwanted extensions is a good idea to speed up your browser. Actually extensions are small software which will work with chrome.  You could check and remove unwanted extensions from: Settings -> Extensions. This window will show you existing extensions and whether it is active or not. You could click trash icon near to the unwanted extension to remove. Or click uncheck check box to disable it.

   3)   Enable Predict Network Action in Google Chrome

  This is awesome and unique feature from Chrome. If “Predict Network Action” is enabled, Google Chrome will load the desired webpage before opening it. This method will work if Google Chrome succeed to predict accurately which website / link you are going to visit. The prediction is done via, web history and stocked keys. To Enable Predict Network Action in Google Chrome, Go to Settings window, select “Show advanced settings”, And you could see “Predict network action to improve page load Performance” option below Privacy. Tick this option and you are done!

4)   Delete Temporary Internet Files

Deleting temporary files may also helps Google Chrome to improve speed and performance.
Open Run command box (win + R) and type “%temp%”. A temp floder will open and delete all files located in temp folder.

5)  Delete Browsing History

Press Alt + Ctrl + Del on keyboard and select which data you need to clear (clear data which may not used) and press Clear browsing data.

The data which may not necessary for most users are, Download history, Cookies and other plug-in data, and Cache.
